Orange Papri Wood Box

Artisan Mohd Tanveer grew up in Delhi assisting his father hand crafting jewelry and boxes. After his father retired Mohd continued the work, combining traditional craft with new designs. For this box Mohd begins with a wooden base and applies strips of papri wood (Indian elm) dyed warm, rich tones of orange. A very versatile box with gorgeous color.
