The paper itself is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified which ensures it comes from sources that are held to rigorous environmental and social standards. It is 100% unbleached, chlorine-free ensuring that no chlorine enters our ecosystem from production to compost. To keep it non-stick, the parchment is coated with a non-toxic silicon that is completely compostable and won't leave residue on food. And although not all paper is compostable, this parchment is certified 100% commercial and backyard compostable.
