To use shaving soap, you can use a wet cloth or a wet hand to create lather. Or you can use a shaving brush for superior lather:

1. Wet your shaving brush with hot water until it's good and saturated.
2. Create a lather by making quick circular motions directly onto the soap. It's a good idea to do this in a shaving mug so the lather stays in one place.
3. After about 30 seconds of whisking you'll have a nice, thick lather that looks like a cream.
4. With your shaving brush, apply the lather onto your face using circular motions.
5. Shave.
6. Don't forget to rinse the excess soap from your brush and shake it dry.
