Soap Dish, Thermowood

Made by Redecker, a family business in Germany for three generations. This soap dish is made of thermowood, which is not the name of the wood itself but the end result of the process when wood is heated to a very high temperature. The wood darkens to a handsome tone, and becomes much more impermeable to water and moisture. It makes a great, plastic-free soap dish!
